Russian annexation of Crimea and “meddling” in Ukraine are the latest excuses for the idiotic US Russia Policy which casts Russia as the wanna bee “Evil Empire”.\u00a0 But we should be greatest allies with Russia.\u00a0 I’ll cite a few key reasons why Russia and the US have in common.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Russia perceives terrorism as just as much of a threat as the US does<\/li>\n
  2. Both countries have every reason to fear China.<\/li>\n
  3. Both countries desire good productive trade relationships with Europe<\/li>\n
  4. Russia and the US would make good number one trading partners<\/li>\n
  5. Neither country wants to see renegade countries such as North Korea acquire nuclear weapons.<\/li>\n
  6. culturally Russia has offered a lot to the rest of the world such as some of the finest writers who ever lived.\u00a0 Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Pushkin being only several good examples and such classical composers as Rachmaninoff, Korsakov, and Tchaikovsky.<\/li>\n
  7. The sense of humor of Americans and Russians is similar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The American press casting Russia as our chief adversary is a complete travesty.\u00a0 Except for this latest editorial from the New York Times “Why Putin’s Foes Deplore U.S. Fixation on Election Meddling”<\/a>.<\/p>\n
