In his prime that ended when he knocked out Zora Folley before he was expelled from the ring, Muhammad Ali welcomed the opportunity to fight three or four times a year. Whereas modern champions are lucky to defend their title just once a year. Ali would fight anyone. Anytime he pleased. In this prime before the powers that be robbed him of his heavyweight championship belt his opponents were hardly able to touch him. He was that fast. But after being forced to leave the ring for three years, his unmatchable boxing skills eroded. Leaving him with his iron chin, unquenchable courage, and supreme ring generalship. To anyone who doubts that Muhammad Ali was the greatest righter of all time, it's worth noting what Mike Tyson said about him when he was asked if he could ever have beaten Ali. It should always be remembered, "No one beats Ali. The man's an animal. He's not like the rest of us."
