Sweet Bar Karaoke: Where Nikon Meets Ninja on Soi Six

Nikky told me as Mali kept fooling around with microphones that didn't work, "Get her a good microphone. Which led to Sweet Bar Karaoke.

I bought about three microphone setups, but only the last fulfilled the mission I counted on. Mali would be singing and dancing in bars. While I also contemplated other friends of mine being able to use my microphone setup in any bar we landed in. The special receiver I bought relied on Bluetooth c

I found my answer in my Nikon professional cameras. Each of my Nikons had two powerful internal microphones. But they also had input connections to which I could connect external microphones. What finally worked was two small mechanisms, One, a receiver I could mount to my camera's hotshoe attachment that I normally mount a flash on. The other unit, a small transmitter or microphone Mali could clip to her clothing.

So now, whenever I take Mali to Sweet Bar, I have a drinking companion and a Mali Sweet Bar Karioke center of attention.

Sweet Bar is a bar that is often overlooked. But, I like it a lot. Consistently I'd say it has the best music on Soi Six. Its manager hardly ever plays da da music which I call Electro Shit. I think he knows all too well that a large percent of his potential customers will walk out of the place as soon as they hear that noise.
