Thank you God. Because Soi Six bars play music for heathens.
But our pretty Soi Six DJ isn't the only DJ
We were using the external microphones. The
receiver worn by Mali and the transmitter attached to my Nikon Z8.
But something happened. When I opened the video files in Cyberlink
Powerdirector 365 only 40 precent of the audio was there. Did the
cable attaching the small transmitter to the Nikon start to wiggle
loose? I think it did. Because after a half dozen tequilas when I
put the camera back into its bag, I noticed the cable had become
unattached.
But I didn't do it. Or at least I didn't do
it consiously. It's bar better to rely on the twin microphones
inside the Nikon. Because this kind of disaster just isn't going to
happen
Our pretty Soi Six DJ did a great job
selecting some great Thai music. But 60 percent of it did not appear
on the Cyberlink sound track. And that travesty forced me to
improvise. The good news is the sound is much cleaner than it would
have been since there's no bar noise in the audio. Or external noise
from the street. The bad news is the external transmitter Mali has
attached to her clothing isn't picking up her voice and she's doing
a lot of singing in these three videos.
The night tuned out to be a night of DJ"s. Starting with Mali. Then
after we left Sweet Bar Silent Bob turned out to be my number one
drinking partner and he's in charge of the music at Nymphoz.
But at Sweet Bar, although our pretty Soi
Six DJ was Mali, I had to recreate most of the audio from scratch.
