The truth about links and banner exchanges

The truth is they dramatically increase your site’s hit count, oftentimes exponentially. Remember those e-mails promising your site a prominent place in the search engines–for a fee? Usually that’s a bunch of bull crap. Many web site designers want you to think they can get you huge increases in hit count by some mysterious alchemic process they alone know the secrets to. I know because I've had hundreds of these magicians spam e-mail me promising to get me in the top ten listings of major search engines. That just doesn't add up. So let me tell you about something that will add up--that if you spend time doing it, will inevitably get your web site a lot more web traffic than it's already getting.

The number one search engine on the Internet is Google, and Google gives its highest ratings to those sites that have the most sites linking to it. Obviously you want to get as many web sites linking to your site as possible in order to place well with Google. The second huge advantage to getting as many other sites to link to yours is that this creates multiple entry ways to your site on the web. But believe it or not 95 % of all adult club web sites do not do the link exchanges that are necessary to get a significant increase in their hit count. Could this be because their web site designers are so hung up on their beautiful graphics design work that they fail to deliver what their customers really need? Then again, it could be simple arrogance on the part of many club owners who believe they already have all the hit count they need.
