For years now Western women have sought to become equal to men in nearly every respect.  They no longer want the car doors to be opened for them, they want to serve in the military, they want to have the same high paying jobs as men, and they want their men to clean house, to nurture the young, and to every way show that sensitive side that had previously been associated with the femininity of women.   They have learned to curse like men, to go to the same body builders,  and to sport tattoos--just like men. And to a huge extent they have succeeded magnificently because now they look like men, talk like men, and behave just like men.  Their bodies have taken on manlike proportions--most of them becoming just as corpulent in this new era of fast food eating.  They have become just as sexually titillating and provocative as most men are to other men.  But this is not so in Thailand where the women are content to being women and take pride in taking care of men and where food is eaten in much smaller proportions.  Here women look the way women should look, so isn't it high time that the Looking Glass looks towards Asia in its unrelenting quest to find the most photographable women?
