Spring
and Summer By Jack Corbett
That's Spring on the left, helping Summer with her makeup. A
first, and remember, you aren't going to get this in any American
magazine--coverage on two Thai ladies--the article and their pictures.
Jack's moving to Thailand so you will be seeing lots of changes in the
"Looking Glass's content. The most beautiful ladies in world
live in Thailand. You will see.
Medical Care is far superior in
Thailand to the wasteland of American Medicine By Jack Corbett
And here's the bottom line. When your health is on the line, it's time to move out of the U.S.Now.Doctors are warning
their kids to stay out of medicine as malpractice premiums for the average Illinois doctor continue to soar between $60,000 and $160,000 a year, and insurance giants such as Mutual of Omaha have dropped their health care insurance to accommodate a bunch of greedy blood sucking American lawyers hired by and tolerated by Americans
who don't give a shit.
Now
how can you really compare the two? Well, you can, because
perhaps nothing illustrates how dramatically different the
laissez-faire attitude of the Thai government differs from Big Brother
of the United States.

Jack Corbett
hadn't seen any of his old school mates for thirty years. Suddenly
an old friend calls, then comes over before the class reunion. The
pair are talking about old times at the Applebee's Restaurant Bar when an
American girl comes over and says: "You two are terribly
interesting. I could not help but overhear--" Jack recalls the
days of this youth as he tries to decide what makes him the way he is, a
trip topless in his sportscar down Memory Lane as he ponders whether to
move to Thailand or stay in the U.S. and how a beautiful Chinese girl he
had just met at his favorite Chinese restaurant could affect his
future plans.

Pure

or contest? If you are at all interested in featuring this is one of your
finest opportunities to make the connections that count. Or how about
those special contests that get you the kinds of credits that get you
ahead? We will be listing the key events that make the difference in an
entertainers career in this section of the Looking Glass.
By Jack Corbett Think New Year's Eve's is a wild holiday where you can let
your hair down and have a blast? Well--it's nothing compared to Songkran in
Thailand and some of its neighboring holidays. For seven days straight
everyone's out to get everybody else as wet as possible. No one's safe
with close to 500 fatalities each year, many of them caused by motorbikes
spinning out in all the water. The event's in late April and this year
Pattaya is suffering from an acute water shortage that is fast becoming a
drought. But nothing fazes the fun loving Thais and the Falang
visitors who should know better but don't as long as they keep their heads
buried in the copious amounts of alcohol being served during the
festivities.
At first I decide to lay low in my hotel room, but then I
decide to join in, donning a pair of swimming trunks and draping a beach
towel around my shoulders I go outside the Sky-Top Guest House, then pulling
off the towel, I challenge everyone about me: "Who wants to be the
first. Go ahead and get me wet."

"Man gets his only power in the
battle of the sexes by his willingness to become the butterfly."
This time in
Pattaya, Thailand, the place men in the know call Paradise, Jack Corbett
spends two months. At the end he finds a girl friend he will stay
with. But everything points out this is the worse thing that can
happen to any man.
