Dick Fitswell from the
Fringe
by Jack Corbett
That Fitswell has captured the imagination of men and women world wide can no longer be questioned. Images of Dick Fitswell seen by some as a God and yet by others as the devil incarnate is no longer in doubt.
The Fitswell as envisioned in a primitive Mexican village A gift from Mexico from Jack to his favorite bartender, the Goddess Lori. Little did the two realize that Jack's trip to Mexico would bring to life an ancient Aztec effigy---that once again Fitswell would inhabit the earth when the long haired bartender asked Jack: "Bring me a gift when you come back from Mexico." And Jack brought home to her----a curse. Meanwhile the unforgettable bartender sends Jack her own concept of Fitswell. Something she found on the web.
Not to be outdone, Craz sends Jack an image he worked over in Photoshop which he calls Jackshaft.jpg. Is this a hint that Jack is really Fitswell and much more than his creator?
