
Thirty years ago Jack Corbett was almost drafted into the U.S. Armed Forces, to fight in Vietnam. That was a date in Vietnam he missed and a date he would keep in far different times. The War cost nearly a million and a half lives, the U.S. lost, and what Jack found in Hanoi was vastly different from what the United States expected would happen if the Communists could not be stopped.
