This one's got it all, not-interested women, crappy service from the waitresses, and what appears to be an ill placed glorification of Thai men. When my partner in crime got here, we tried to order two beers together.  His came.  Mine didn't.  And here's where i think the concept of face or losing it came into play.  When I told the waitress I wanted a drink as well after she brought my friend his beer, she suddenly had this pissed off look on her face.  Now I might be wrong but this is the way I understand it.  She knew she screwed up big time.  I mean here we were, two guys just standing in the middle of the club, and quite possibly the only customers in the place and she flat out ignores me.  So when I tell her I wanted a beer, I was reminding her she was not doing her job, so she had to save face, if only to herself as if she were looking in the mirror so she took it out on me.

There were a number of girls sitting along the wall twiddling their thumbs, doing absolutely nothing.  My initial thought was they were on a salary and were quite content with it provided they didn't have to do much to earn it.  Not one of them approached us.  Not one girl on the stage as much as smiled at us.  A little later on, we saw a computer screen running a slide show.  The girls were in it.  No surprise there.  There were a few Western guys in the pictures who were obviously attending a special party at the club.  But there majority of pictures of guys were of Thai guys.  And right or wrong, my thinking is a lot of those guys were the boyfriends of some of the girls working for this club.  So there it is, Thai men are in with this club and Western guys are out.  Casino definitely strikes new lows among the Pattaya go-go bars and should be avoided at all costs.

My second most to be avoided Go-go bar is Angel Witch.  Now I don't know where it got a reputation for having good shows, but I suppose those who rate it highly for its shows simply don't know any better.   If you want good shows go to the Excite Disco out on Third Road or if you are staying on Walking Street, go to Polo Club, which caters to Asian tourists.  Polo Club is not a good place to come to find a girl for the evening but good shows it has.  For that matter if you catch them just right a lot of beer bars will have one or two girls dancing who will get your heart rate quivering much faster than Angel Witch ever will.  And if having second rate shows is not bad enough the beer prices will certainly have you wanting to be practically anywhere else.  At 140 baht for a bottle of Heineken, they are the highest of any go-go bars I know of.  Lastly, the women are not up to what you will find in the best clubs.
