Mirage, an 18-year-old-waitress, outshines nine feature entertainers to claim the Miss Nude Texas West title at Abilene's Club Maximus

October 2003 is when Club Maximus hosts it M.S. Texas pageant in Wichita Falls, TX. Joining this big event is the Texas West Pageant held several weeks ago in Abilene. Whether you are a feature entertainer or house dancer wanting to take your career to the next step, the Maximus Club Pageants are a great spot to put on your itinerary. Take this last event held in Abilene for example.
Anything can happen here at the Maximus Clubs. For one thing they are in Texas, and at Maximus the house dancers take house dancing to the stratosphere. Last October, Paige, from the home club here in Wichita Falls came within a split hair of winning the whole enchilada. But while I was photographing the event, I was often joined by the cutest and nicest little waitress you could ever imagine. For the first two nights before the contest arena got crowded the cute waitress hung around my table watching me work on my laptop. A month later the she called me up to tell me she had started dancing and was considering being a feature.
In Abilene at the Miss Texas West contest I had to have a new favorite waitress
bcause my little waitress had changed her name to Mirage. Now she was up on the
club's stage competing against the pros. On her second night on the stage, Mirage
came out scorching to the tune of "Welcome to the Jungle." When she
stepped down she got a rousing standing ovation from everybody in the house.
Whether the applause was just for her or the standout performances of the other
entertainers as well as hers, I cannot say, but the cheering was awesome. But
her performance was a standout. My little waitress had stepped up to being a star to
shine brightly with a brilliant career ahead of her.
By the time it was all said and done just eight points separated the first and last finishers out of nine contestants. The whole thing had been that close. And Mirage finished first. They say everything is bigger in Texas. The epoch lives on, this latest episode continued by an unknown and very pretty little waitress who is as polite and nice off the stage as she is an accomplished virtuoso on it.

Daniels,
soon to be Lollitops, who I first met and photographed last October during the
M.S. Texas pageant in Wichita Falls gave a great performance each night just
as she had six months earlier, this time improved as a dancer. She had only
started featuring five months before the Wichita Falls Pageant. She had excited
me then and this time she excited me even more. Never boring and always innovative,
Vicki is one of those high energy performers who can really really dance while
doing the pole brilliantly.
Darien
Ross, a
real crowd pleaser, was Darien Ross, a real crowd pleaser was here looking glamorous and very professional.
Cinnamin
Sticks, a house dancer from the home club,
consistently
gave great performances, and wound up placing second.
In
the opinion of many, the best performance during the final night was Scarlett
Reign's. Coming onto the stage as Clint Eastwood's Spaghetti Western squint
eyed hero.
Adorned
in a Western blanket with a six shooter by her side, cowboy hat on her head,
and lighting up a cigar, Scarlett nearly had me fall into a nearby table from
laughing so hard.
Damien
Davidson, from Vicksburg, Mississippi, pulled out all the stops, including bringing
onto the stage a miniature motorcyle. Finishing second or third in nearly every
category...best legs, best show, best breasts, etc, Damien didn't win a single
credit or title although she obviously is one
good looking babe and one helluva
entertainer. But
this is why the Maximus Pageants can be so meaningful to an entertainer's career.
Damien got eight weeks of books from this event--a four week tour of the four
Maximus Clubs early this summer with another four week tour later on.
Excellent performances were also turned in by Shenille Dawn and Helen Bed.

The sun is intense and the scenery unspectacular like most of Texas, but here's it's the people who make the state the great state that it is. Later on, when we all return home I'll be talking with or seeing Darien, Damien and Vicki. We all like it down here and are looking forward to M.S. Texas IV in October in Wichita Falls.
But this is Texas and it's great to be here. After the pageant, five vehicles head in echelon from Abilene to Wichita Falls. Several of us wind up spending the night at Vic Robinson's, the Wichita Falls Club manager's place. I have my shirt off and top down on my Miata when I'm passed by a Harley. Damien Davidson's sitting on the motorcycle's back seat, topless, waving at me and the passengers in the rest of our crew's vehicles. This afternoon there will be a photo shoot in Vic's back yard with Damien and Darien posing with weapons for our 2004 guns and babes calendar. Tonight I will be shooting the house dancers in the Wichita Falls club where I will be treated like royalty. The sun is intense and the scenery unspectacular like most of Texas, but here's it's the people who make the state the great state that it is.
