In the United States
there are two types of exotic dancers. Most of
them are house dancers. That is they work for
their home club. Whereas feature entertainers
typically travel from night club to night club.
often from state to state. These are the true
professionals of the U.S. adult entertainment world.
Most feature entertainers go though a
booking agency such as Pure Talent or Continental
which negotiates a temporary arrangement with the
clubs that book feature entertainers. The
agency will collect a booking fee that is typically
15 percent of the contract the club pays the feature
entertainer.
Normally the nightclub pays all
hotel expenses and travel expenses such as airfare
for the feature. While paying the feature
entertainer for each show she performs at the
nightclub which is typically between $100 and $500
per show, with four to five shows being the average
per night.
Those feature entertainers
who are the most attractive, do the best shows, have
earned the most professioal credits and are the most
reliable are the most sought after and
make the most money.
For example, whenever
Jack Corbett wrote an article about an entertainer
for Xtreme Magazine the feature had earned a credit
for appearing in Xtreme. If she earned a title
for doing the best show at Nudes-A-Poppin she got a
credit. Or if she won the coveted Miss Hude
World Title she earned perhaps the most coveted
credit of all.
At least three of the
entertainers on this page won some very
signficant credits. For example Aspen Reign
won the Miss Nude World Title seven times earning
over $30000 each time she won. While Leah
Layne won the Miss Nude Illinois title in 1999
at Big Als.
