There’s every reason to expect things to change, but this week Sweet and Secret Garden are our choices as Soi Six’s top bars.
One reason, Secret Garden was one of our two top choices is the woman on the right.
She hung in there with Mali dance after dance. Then there’s the second girl who often appears in these videos. Which added to all the fun and spontaneity that made this such a great evening.
The second reason is Secret Garden’s got new management. Thankfully it sent its old manager bye bye and hire a new one. Who did everything right tonight. First, he let Mali be the bar’s DJ. No one else. Just Mali. Then he told one of his girls, “go dance with Mali. Jack and I will buy you drinks.” And from the looks of these videos he picked the right girl. Who earned every drink by hanging out with Mali for the duration.
But there are two bars on this week’s short list. Sweet and Secret Garden. So what’s Sweet bar’s secret? For nearly always being Mali’s pick of the litter? And mine also. Although not one of the bar girls joined Mali, Sweet Bar’s manager did. As he so often does. While letting Mali be the bar’s DJ. And when she isn’t, Sweet bar’s manager is more than equal to the task. This guy knows his music. He’s also older than most Soi Six bar managers so he’s not into playing the kind of crap the young customers enjoy. Which is a good thing because I view today’s younger generations as a form of sub species of the human race.
