I can do great video at Sweet Bar and Nymphoz due to their superior sound systems. Whch means I can create better video than I can get anywhere else. But these two bars are two diffferent kettles of worms. At Sweet Bar we can go full bore playing whatever music we like with very rare exception. The bar girls here generally do not play their favorite music. Which is a great thing because too many bar girls like DA DA. Which is that nfernal electronic noise most of my friends and me despise. While Ninja the bar manager despises it just as much as we do. And NInja knows his music.

Nymphoz has Silent Bob for its DJ. And Bob’s a great DJ except for those times a low life comes in and insists that Bob plays his favorite songs.

Nymphoz has full room length mirrors on both sides of the bar. Which makes the place appear a lot bigger than it is. And the club’s got great lighting. Which means I can do better video here than practically anywhere else. And it’s got its own little stage and dancing poll. Couple all this with a high quality sound system and you’ve got the most attractive bar on Soi Six.

Which brings me to why I titled most of these videos, “When RIck Comes to Soi Six.

Rick works for Harvard University. Which is the most prestigious university in the world. So when Nikky messaged me from England, “RIck’s in Pattaya now”. Can you look out for him, I felt I had my work cut out for me. Not that Ricki’s a bad guy. Or that RIck’s not interesting. But because I felt RIck would not enjoy the Soi Six bars. And since i had not been to a single Pattaya bar in the last two weeksI wanted to treat myself.

Truth is Soi Six is one godawful street to walk down. It as all the abysmal blarring electronic noise that too many people pass off as music. Which is so loud that one cannot carry on a cell phone conversation anywhere on six.

Most of my friends won’t even join me on Six because it’s so loud and has too many degenerits filling the street.

While I find it just as appalling as my friends find it, I at least have several bars I can escape from most of all that noise screeching out from 100 bars.

So when we first arrived at Nymphoz RIck told me, “Soi Six is not my thing. I know it is yours, Jack.

Mali and I planned on starting out at Nymphoz, have a couple drinks there and then we would go to Sweet Bar.

When we finally arrived at Sweet Bar, Ninja, pulled out all the stops to look after Rick, buying all of us alot of drinks.

And as far as Rick, tequila and Jagermeisters whether Rick wanted to drink them or not. Ninja as nearly always allowed Mali to play DJ so we got to listen to a lot of good Thai music. While Mali once again became our one woman entertainer as she kept changing the music, and sang and danced for us.

EVentually we returned to Nymphoz, where out DJ pal, Silent Bob went on a roll. Playing a lot of great disco music Bob danced a lot with Mali. Which all turned out to be a great feast for my camera.

Jnni and Mali dancing together.

To cap the night off, we found, Jenni, the 20000 baht winner of Pattaya Dancing Queen IV working at Nymphoz. Where she paired off with Mali, the two of them dancing together for Act 8 of When Rick comes to Soi Six.

Although I could not drink any alcohol at all due to my being on anibiotics, I believe I shot a lot of good video. And to all appearances Rick seemed to be having a great time talking to Ninja the affable Chinese manager of Sweet Bar and later on with Silent Bob. Mali and I left early. Around 1 a.m due to Mali’s drinking a lot of tequila I normally would have helped her drink, and my seeing no reason to linger if all I was drinking was coca cola and water.
