Thanks to Mali or Gee who’s not here) vibrant Thai Music leads to some really action-packed Soi Six Sounds

Too many foreigners are totally intolerant towards Thai music, who insult it without having the slightest idea of what they are talking about.
I believe the twelve videos from our February 15, 2026 outing proves how wrong these foreigners are.. Considering that my primary purpose while shooting video in Pattaya bars is to capture as much beauty and excitement as I can. And that a lot of exciting Thai music accompanies my videos vindicates what I am doing.
There are three foreigners dancing to the music in these 12 videos. Two are Englishmen, Silent Bob, who’s the DJ at Nymphoz and my sidekick Chris. The third is Ninja, the Chinese manager of Sweet Bar. In my opinion all three men are doing an excellent job dancing with Mali in the videos. And most of the music they are dancing to is Thai music that’s being played by Mali, the acting DJ in our group. With the sole exception being Silent Bob since he’s a real DJ working for Nymphoz.
Most bars on Soi 6, and there must be a hundred of them, play that horrific electronic noise I call Da Da. Which is why our two favorite bars on SIx are Nymphoz and Sweet Bar.
Silent Bob’s forte as DJ is playing a lot of disco style music which was the rage of the 1980’s, whereas Ninja at Sweet Bar allows Mali to play DJ for as long as she likes. Or me, if I don’t have Mali along to fight with over what music the bar’s playing.
Of course, Mali’s going to play her favorite Thai songs, but she’s also astute enough to play the Thai music I like. I think Mali’s got excellent taste in music. I can say the same for Ninja, so on the average we are going to be hearing the best music we like to hear at Sweet Bar.
Most of my falang friends hate Soi Six because it’s so loud and noisy. I believe the reason why is that their brains have become old and atrophied. While all that electro crap is so obnoxious that it will cause a herd of buffalo to commit mass suicide.
Then there’s a lot of falang who enjoy playing olc rock classics like the Rolling Stones “GIve me Shelter.” Which although excellent music, one can hardly dance to it. unless his name is Mick Jagger. Then there’s a lot of what I call tourist music they play a lot of, especially on Soi Buakhao Music such as Hotel California which is so boring that I want to take a dump to it.
But if you are a falang who’s actually lived here full time the best and absolutely most vibrant Thai music starts to really grow on you.
Because when I was hosting all those Pattaya Dancing Queen contests, I really started to get into the Thai bands that were playing it . While the Thai women love dancing to it. And trust me, there’s nothing like a beautiful Thai lady dancing to the music she loves. I should know because I’ve been living here for more than twenty years while watching Thai children as young as 2 years old dancing to some really vibrant Thai music.
