Category Archives: Helicopter Bar Soi Six

Helicopter bar has the best potential of any Soi Six Bar without exception. It is the largest bar unless my eyesight is failing, and I am missing something. There is an upstairs as large as Helicopter’s downstairs. Which is already twice the size of your average beer bar or Soi Six Bar. SInce, the beginning of time, there must have been a go-go bar upstairs at Helicopter bar. Because several years ago when Helicopter bar was Nature bar the manager and I found two dancing poles. We even had a pole dancing competition. But the poles are now gone. There still remains the foundations that seated the poles, however. There’s still a bar upstairs. Although the bar stools have long ago been removed. There are also several large mirrors. The upstairs can easily be restored and made into a go go bar or similar establishment. To cap all this off there’s still a wide door that opens out into a balcony that overlooks the entire Soi Six. The bars owners tell me that it’s going to take 40 bar girls to make restoration of the upstairs feasible.

Soi Six video action preparing for Pattaya Dancing Queen III

I buy a Nikon angle 1.8 lens for my new Nikon z7ii camera to create a lot of Pattaya Soi Six Video action. And I sure did, starting with the following three videos.

Due to a freak accident my new Nikon 24-70 2.8 lens lasted only 12 hours before it fell out of my camera and crashed down onto the floor. But it did great shooting that Christmas party at Nikky Bar. I’ve got Nikon’s latest and greatest camera. It’s mirrorless and very fast which makes it perfect for shooting fast action video. Ordered the hot 17-28 2.8 lens from Nikon but I can’t get my hands on it until whenever Nikon decides to sell it in Thailand. While my spanking brand new 24-70 lens waits forever for Nikon to repair it. I want to record a lot of hot Soi Six video action on YouTube but all I’ve got are two slow 50-millimeter lenses that totally inadequate for the kind of Pattaya bar video I want to shoot.

Finally, the 20 mm 1.8 Nikon Lens arrives, which I paid a lot of money for.

It’s a prime lens with no zoom capability whatsoever. But it’s supposed to be very fast, and I am hoping it’s perfect for the closed in quarters of Pattaya’s bars.

I can’t wait to shoot a lot of Soi Six Video action with the new wide angle Nikon lens.

So, I figure on hitting about six bars the first night. Take time off watching Netflix in my condo the next night. Then, hitting Soi Six hard again on the third night. Where I can shoot all the Soi Six video action I can.

I arrive at Soi Six Repent Bar first, Meeting my old pal, Per, who is already there when I arrive. And so is Koy, one of the most photogenic girls to model before my cameras.

Koy and Per at Repent Bar. Per’s been one of my best friends for something like 18 years now. Norwegian, until recently he was an inspector on a Norwegian factory ship accompaning whatever ship he was North of the Arctic circle on my ocasions. Per was the inspiration for the Menace of the North (Menny) character in my second novel, Welcome to the Funhouse.

I had been hoping to meet up with Mew tonight. But she’s stuck in her go-go bar on Walking Street. For now.

But Mew will catch up with us much later with a young customer who no doubt has paid her expensive bar fine.

Mimi will hopefully provide a lot of Soi Six video action for my camera

But I’ve got a half dozen bars to get to so we don’t stay at Repent Bar for long. Thomas is next door at the Playpen. I have been doing a lot of pictures and video here recently with a lot of help from Thomas. He’s got a girl here who he feels can compete well against the likes of Koy and Mew. Luckily she’s here. Her name is Mimi.

Night out with Mew on Soi Six. Starting out at Helicopter Bar we end up at Playpen. Where Koy joins us and Koy and Mew meet Mimi
Thomas and Mimi at the Playpen Bar on Soi Six. Thomas who knows the girls here better than anyone feels Mimi has an excellent chance of competing well at the next Pattaya Dancing Queen competition this April 2, 2023.
In nearly every bar in Pattaya the bargirls play a game called “Connect Four” which is a lot like Tic Tac Toe on steroids. I usually lose to the bargirls, and since I hate losing, I’ve come up with my own bar game. “Chopsticks”. To win. And I will often buy a bargirl a drink when she wins, she must pick up a ten-baht coin three times in succession with a pair of chopsticks. I always win. But in this video, it’s Thomas taking on the bargirls.

You can buy Welcome to the Fun House at amazon.com and lulu.com. And the other five books I have written as well as the 2023 Pattaya Beaches Eye Candy Calendar at lulu.com.
