2023 Pattaya Dancing Queen wins 20000 baht at Nikky Bar.

Not only did our 2023 Pattaya Dancing Queen win 20000 baht. She also proved she is Pattaya’s finest dancer bar without peer.

Mew 2023 Pattaya Dancing Queen

It’s hardly any surprise that Mew took first place in the April 2, 2023 Pattaya Dancing Queen competition. After all, she won both previous competitions. This year she faced even greater competition. Gee, for example (wearing number 2 in the picture below), I can personally attest to, is about as serious about her dancing as Mew. Her outfit her shoes, must match. She pays careful attention to the music she chooses. And like Mew, she dances just about everywhere she goes.

Then there’s Koy who tied Gee for second place in the July 31st 2022 competition. But Koy was a total newbie back then. And nearly clueless what she was getting into. Since July her dancing has vastly improved and she’s as cute as a button. Two of my bargirl friends predicted Koy would win this year while Mew would fall back to 2nd place.

Nee Nee who won third place in the July 2022 competition of course always has a chance of winning the big one. Then there was Mimi who we hoped would represent the Playpen Bar whose manager, Thomas, had always been high on. As for the other Mimi who would represent Nikky Bar, I had absolutely no clue about her. While Pang would represent MJ Kitty Bar even though she had Nitcha and Gift with her to cheer her on.

But I told both ladies, “Never bet against Mew. She’s so damn smart that she will make sure she wins.” Even if it means bribing the judges.

From left to right, Mew, Mimi representing Nikky Bar, Nee Nee representing Nikky Bar, Pang from Soi Six MJ Kittys Bar, Koy from Repent Bar, Gee, and Mimi representing the Playpen.

I exaggerate when I say that. Because bribery is not even in Mew’s vocabulary. But when you look at the first picture, Mew actually did buy one of the owners five drinks. In fact, it’s normal for Mew to buy the bar manager or owner a drink. And oftentimes she will buy drinks for girls she feels are less fortunate than her. Which amounts to her captivating nearly every bar she goes to. She’s a people magnet with charisma out the ying yang.

When showdown finally arrived, Mew was working out in the gym every day. By contest time there was not an ounce of flab on her body. As for Nee Nee, she had her mother staying with her. So, she wasn’t doing a lot of drinking. And knowing Nee Nee I have no doubt that she was practicing her dancing moves in her room. But by the time the dust had settled out of the seven contestants only Gee, Mew and Nee Nee were dancing to real music. Whereas Koy, both Mimi’s and Pang were dancing to electro crap I call da da. Which consists of just two beats, loud and louder. When you consider that most judges in our contests have been in their fifties and sixties, you can’t blame them for voting against contestants who have such rotten taste.

Mew was so confident entering this competition that she actually went with me looking for a new 2023 Pattaya Dancing Queen who could beat her.

Mew went with me to Pinups Go Goi bar on Walking Street which is renowned for having the sexiest go go dancers in town. There were over 100 go go girls there. But we had no time to lose. So I bought a drink for the mamasan and gave her a flyer advertising the Pattaya Dancing Queen Competition with a map on the back to Nikky Bar. The mamasan promised to show it to the Pinups go go girls.

Then we went to SX go go where we once again saw over a hundred girls dancing on stages. Here I bought the assistant mamasan a drink and gave her the flyer advertising the dancing queen competition.

Mew and I were also hitting a lot of the Soi Six bars, over and over. Searching for a potential 2023 Pattaya Dancing Queen.

20000 baht is a lot of money to a Pattaya Bar girl so one would expect practically every bar girl in town to know about this contest.

And even if a girl figured she was not up to winning first place she would always hope for second place or third place. Good for 15000 baht and 5000 baht respectively.

By the time the contest seemed to be over with Mew handily winning first place again.,

Thomas, the head judge announced that there had been a tie for second place between Playpen’s Mimi and Nee Nee. So we had a final showdown, a dance off between Mimi and Nee Nee. Which Nee Nee won by the slimmest of margins.

Mimi being a compete newbie had made a few mistakes. She played that electro crap I call da da for her song. Which hardly any of the judges would have cared for because it’s pure noise and not music at all. She also had too much to drink too early on. Due to her having such a great time with the other contestants.

I would never have predicted either Gee or Koy not even finishing in the top three. But as Nikky always told me, “Anyone can win.”

I got all seven shows on YouTube, so you can judge for yourselves who your winners might have been if you had been one of our five judges.

Contestant number 1 Mimi representing the Playpen
2nd contestant Gee representing herself.
