Dollies club owner murderer Nathan Eggemeyer was found out after his partner’s body was discovered a year after his disappearance.
All my dealings were with Hawk, the general manager of Dollies so I hardly knew Nathan Eggemeyer, the man who would forever be known as the Dollies Club Owner murderer.
Nearly a year before Steve’s body was found, Hawk had asked me to find out what I could. After telling me Steve’s pickup truck had been found abandoned alongside some god forsaken road.
While Marriah who had always been a close friend of Hawk’s kept telling me, Steve’s dead. Nathan killed him. Because one of them’s been stealing from the other.
Marriah, how could I ever fault her? She was almost like the girl next door who was too good to be true. Once you overlooked her addiction to heroin that is.
Unlike most Thai bar girls I have to deal with now, Marriah was totally reliable, always on time, and she always paid back every cent she ever borrowed off me. She had a heart of gold and loved cooking for friends.
So as far as I was concerned my relationship with Dollies and the people working there was total normalcy. And as far as Hawk was concerned he was just a normal sort of guy who loved driving Harleys who had found himself managing a strip club. As for drug addicts Dollys had a lot of them, but for the most part even the drug addicts pretty much always did what they promised to do.
So yes, Marriah and I were working for Nathan. a killer. Marriah because she stripped for the club. And as for myself, I had been doing my utmost to promote the club and rewarded for my efforts.
So what was this Dollies Club owner murder like?
I really don’t know. In spite of my being in the club three or four nights a week for nearly a year until Steve’s body was uncovered. I only recall a few times when I’d be sitting at the bar. While Nathan would be sitting only a few feet away. He was a man of slender build. And rather handsome I suppose in a dapper kind of way. He didn’t talk a lot,and I can’t ever recall him ever raising his voice.
But business at Dollys was good ever since that night Nathan killed Steve. I was able to shoot thousands of digital pictures of all the girls and my friends at Dollies. In that single year the club went from nowhere to becoming nationally known. With guys coming from all over the U.S. to find out what Dollies had going on there.
Meanwhile everyone knew Steve had been murdered. With Nathan being the prime suspect. But damn if we didn’t have it all going on in that club, while Dollies prospered.
The story goes that Nathan’s son squealed to the police. Due to his having nightmares about his part in disposing of Steve’s body.
But then they finally put Dollies club owner murderer Nathan Eggemeyer in jail the club started to go downhill really fast.
Steve’s widow now put herself in charge of the club. But she hated going there. And whenever she came to visit, the managers would tell me to put away my digital camera and to stop taking pictures. One can’t blame her after all that she had been through. While Hawk, who had been a great general manager in my opinion was soon to be sacked in favor of the widow’s sister in law.
