Every year EDS publications sponsors an adult industry convention It advertises as its Expo 20xx which is an exotic dancer club
The entertainers in the picture above are definitely members of the Exotic Dancer club for industry professionals. They are feature entertainers representing the Pure Talent Agency at the Exotic Dancer Expo in Las Vegas. I do want to spell out one caveat on the link I just provided. In my experience all Exotic Dancer expos were in Las Vegas. Whereas this year’s expo will be held in Dallas, Texas.
I call EDS publications expo 2024, 2022, 2021 whatever year EDS holds its adult convention an Exotic Dancer Club because this is what this convention all about.
Even though in a larger sense it is an adult convention. For example, porn stars come here to promote themselves. And porn stars are in most cases not exotic dancers. Nevertheless, the heart of this convention are strip clubs which Exotic Dancer sanitizes as gentlemen’s clubs.
But before I continue on, it’s essential for me to explain the difference between house dancers and feature entertainers. A house dancer is a stripper who works for a single club. Whereas a feature entertainer represents herself as a star who travels across the country performing special shows for whichever night club hires her. However most feature entertainers employ talent agencies such as Pure Talent Agency, Continental or Universal Talent to promote them and to arrange their bookings. Such travel agencies typically charge the club that hires a feature entertainer a 15 percent commission.

The most obvious attractions at the Exotic Dancer expos are the trade shows which showcase up to 100 exhibiters booths which promote and sell a wide range of products and services to gentlemen’s clubs and adult industry professionals. For example, there’s booths that advertise night club lighting and security systems. There are booths that sell insurance. Or publishers such as Xtreme Magazine. And photographer-writers such as myself. Not to mention booths for talent agencies such as Pure Talent or even individual feature entertainers such as one that appears in my video slide show above for Adara Michaels promoting her Scandalous feature shows.
Far less obvious are Exotic Dancer’s seminars for adult night club owners on such topics as “what you should pay your employees, how to reduce the risk of embezzlement, how to make your club more palatable in your community, how to advertise on the internet, legal issues affecting your club, etc. I attended a lot of these seminars myself and I am certainly not a strip club owner. And there were many other attendees such as me, who had no financial interest whatsoever in gentlemen’s clubs. Nevertheless, simply by being there, we were all members of a very elite exotic dancer club in my opinion.
