With fireworks and music blaring, these Soi Six videos capture unforgettable moments in time as 2024 bites the dust.
Nevertheless, Nymphoz, one of Soi Six’s newest bars if not the newest offers the best photographic and video atmosphere I know of in Pattaya.
I am not denigrating any of the other bars here when I am saying this. But, let’s face it, most bars in Pattaya have horrible music. Whereas Nymphoz has a full time DJ in Silent Bob who has made a living in Pattaya DJing practically everywhere for years. And if a bar is playing horrible music, not only do I not want to do video there. I don’t want to be there at all.
More than any other factor it’s the music that makes me want to be in a bar.
And although it’s great to have beautiful girls all around me, if a bar has gorgeous gals and horrible music, I’m leaving. Visions and the Platinum Club in the Saint Louis Metro East are terrific examples of this. Both were gentlemen’s clubs that had wonderful visual appeal. And being top tier gentlemen’s clubs, their drink prices were way too high. I could go to a lot of fun clubs such as Dollies Playhouse and drink for a lot less. And have a great time doing it because of all the fun people I knew there.
But both Visions and Platinum Club had fantastic DJ’s. Bake and Ron were cousins at Platinum Club. Both men are black. So, they played a lot of great music which is what you would expect out of black guys who really know their music. And who are good enough to make a good living playing it for the crowd. Sometimes Bake or Ron would DJ at Visions due to Visions and Platinum being sister clubs that had the same owner. Then there was Jesse. Who although not Afro American, had astonishing tastes in music. And whenever I listened to Jesse’s music, I was always wondering just what kind of music he would be playing next.
I often sat at the bars at Visions or Platinum Club drinking high priced cocktails without a care in the world how much I was spending on alcohol.
Because although both gentlemen’s clubs had a lot of good-looking strippers, it was the music I liked best in both clubs.
Getting back to Pattaya, Sweet Bar has a manager who almost always plays Another one Bites the Dust whenever I come into his bar. Which tonight becomes 2024 bites the dust. This happens to have a lot of Chinese customers come into his bar. Which gives Sweet Bar a distinctive atmosphere. While Repent Bar’s customers are mostly Korean which gives it a different personality than Sweet Bar.
But men and women who know their music come from all over the world. And trust me, Sweet Bar plays a lot of great music because its manager knows his stuff. Hot Shots which used to have a German owner had great music, and so does Soho Bar which has Ollie, a German owner who’s been an icon on Soi Six for over twenty years now.
But I am talking about where I can do the best videos and pictures now, and for me, Nymphoz is in a class by itself.
An entire wall at Nymphoz is all mirrors. And whenever you have an entire wall of mirrors a room looks a lot larger than it actually is. While equally important all those mirrors capture multiple images of people. Which allows me to capture some very interesting images of my subjects whether I’m shooting still pictures or videos.
Nypmphoz also has a dancing pole and a small stage in front of the pole. Both are great focal points that offer great possibilities of pretty women to show off. While obviously a woman who can pole dance, can be very exciting to watch.
Taking pictures and shooting video in mirrors allows me to produce works of art that most people will never conceive of doing.
I shot several of my models for the 2025 Pattaya Beaches calendar in front of mirrors at my condo or at Nymphoz. I shot pictures of Mew in front of mirrors at my condo. But I also shot her on the small stage at Nymphoz. Posing in front of the mirrors. New is Miss January as well as the calendar cover girl. I never took a single picture of New at Bamboo Beach. But there she is. All two of her at Bamboo Beach. And although I shot her at several Wongamat Beaches. I shot her in front of my mirrors in my small bedroom for the January page.
Gotta leave you all now. Because I’m taking little Miss Mali to Soi Six tonight to get my first pictures this year. Because from now on, 2024 bites the dust in the Jack Corbett video Channel.
