Silent Bob can’t remember coming home and Jack Corbett can’t either, but Mali danced great even though we were blitzed out of our minds.

Although we hit Spot Bar, Smoke and Kisses, Sweet Bar, Nymphoz, and Helicopter Bar, I shot all the videos at Sweet Bar. And I ended up at Nypmphoz for the second time of the night. I can’t remember the last couple of bars. And the next day, Silent Bob called me and asked: “Did you come back to Nymphoz? Because I got so drunk I can’t remember.”
And I replied, “I can’t either Bob. Last place I remember is Helicopter bar. And it closes at 1 a.m. So, I must have hit Nymphoz for my last stop.
I really got into this video even though we’ve done Queen countless times with Mali dancing to it. In this version I’ve merged portions of “Bohemian Rhapsody” into clips of Mali dancing to the video. Have to love Rami Malek’s portrayal of Queen’s Freddy Mercury in this Netflix movie. (Loved Malek in “The Pacific” as well).
The next day, I was anxious to work on the night’s videos. Over the past few weeks, I was relying on Nikon’s twin in camera microphones. Because I can’t miss with them.
But this time I used the external microphone setup. Which amounted to Mali clipping on a small transmitter to her clothing. And my placing the receiving unit in the camera’s Hotshoe I normally use to the flash.
It took a few days for me to even get to view the videos. At first, I thought the latest Microsoft Windows 11 update had neutered my video editing program. But when Windows Explorer kept bugging out on me, I was certain that Microsoft had created another Windows 11 virus. I uninstalled and reinstalled my Cyberlink Powerdirector 360 editing software. I replaced my entire Windows 11 operating system with a Windows trouble shooter version of Windows 11. Finally, I restored my entire C and D drives with an Acronis backup. And still nothing worked.
Finally, the culprit revealed itself. When I copied the night’s five videos from the camera memory card to my E drive, I had put them in the wrong folder. So, I copied them into the folder with the right date on it. And somehow that totally glitzed at least two files. To make a long story short, I used Easeus to restore the files from the memory card and this enabled me to reincarnate four of the five videos I had deleted.
I really wanted to see how well Mali’s voice came out with the external microphone setup. In the end all came out well. But I sure don’t want to have us all blized out of our minds for at least another week.
