Spot Bar is the last bar I remembered. Until I had a lot of coffee the next morning. And only then could I remember the rest. That’s the beauty of Soi Six Oblivion. Unfortunately, what I remember was not drinking enough alcohol. And my walking to the end of Soi Six, and down Second Road. All the way down it, and all the way up Naklua Road to the Lek Villa Resort. And with the exception of one or two very small bars. That looked boring. Not a bar in sight. Only then did I take a motorbike taxi the rest of the way home.

So, take it from me. Soi Six is where it’s at. And if there is ever a dull moment, it’s time for another tequila or–make that several. To get to Nirvana. Not the Buddhist kind of Nirvana, but what I call Soi Six Oblivion.
