We are now at Smoke and Kisses on Soi Six fine tuning Nikon Z8 to see how well it focuses in low light Pattaya Bars.
This is just our second outing with my new camera. On our first outing I was trying out a new wireless microphone that I had Mali clip on her top. But the noise level in several of the bars was too high resulting in too much distortion. I was not too happy with my new cameras focusing while shooting video. That’s why I am calling these last ten videos Fine tuning Nikon Z8. And this time I believe I’ve got it all right.
Fine Tuning Nikon Z8 turned out to be a great idea. By changing the focusing settings and turning down my microphone level I was much more satisfied with my results.
Although I loved the relatively small size and excellent performance of my Nikon Z7ii camera, it was not quite up to what I expected it to do. Although my Nikon Z7ii had superb all-around performance its focusing in Pattaya’s bars shooting video of fast-moving Thai lady friends of mine was not up to my expectations. So, when I read that the Nikon Z8 camera’s focusing was reputedly twice as good as the Z7I’s I just had to have it. Regardless of cost.
The Nikon Z9 has a resolution of 45 megapixels. Same as the Z7ii. Which is enough for just about anything. But it’s doing great video that I am after. That will look good even on my 84-inch television. The new Nikon Z8 can do 4 k and even 8 k video. Which is overkill. Because I’m only shooting video in HD quality due to internet speeds being too low to deliver 4 k or 8 k quality.
