Sensational officers kukri from Kuhkuri House represents the Alpha Wolf

So I’m calling this sensational officers Kukri the Alpha Pro kukri because it is a one of a kind superior close quarters weapon that exemplifies the spirit and character of the Alpha Wolf.

Luckily I had help shooting this video of my new sensational officers kukri. I wanted to compare it to my Chinese made Japanese sword so I asked her, “GG, can you please bring me my Chinese Katana from the large bedroom? ”

sensational officers kukri engraved with alpha wolf picture
This Sensational Officers Kukri is handmade by skilled Nepalese craftsmen goes one step beyond the superior finished kukris ordered by high ranked British officers serving in Asia between World War II. I ordered mine from Khukuri House to represent my alphapro web site by having the image of the alpha wolf engraved on the kukri’s blade just above its its handle.

So I’m calling this hand made Khukuri House Interwar British Officer’s Kukuri the Alpha Pro kukri because it is a one of a kind superior close quarters weapon that exemplifies the spirit and character of the Alpha Wolf.

The male alpha wolf is the strongest male of the pack. He mates for life with the alpha female wolf. While the rest of the pack serves their Alpha leaders.

And so it is with human kind. There’s the alphas, and there’s the betas. The leaders and their followers.

I like to think of myself as an alpha male. I’ve written and published six books. While I’m constantly comparing myself to Ernest Hemingway. But I will admit straight off. As a writer I cannot hold up Ernest Hemingway’s jockstrap. But I have chosen my own models for my book. And shot all their pictures with my digital cameras. I’ve created all my book covers from scratch. I typeset all books. So essentially my books are as close to handmade as it gets.

Hemingway acquired a double barreled elephant gun--a 477 Nitro Express which he kept until the day he died. Which is why I ordered a sensational officers kukri from Kuhkuri House.

Hemingway’s elephant gun was virtually hand made. So like Hemingway, I felt I needed to get a weapon to represent myself even though the weapon will only serve as a decorative ornament. As well as my alphapro web site now going strong for twenty-five years.

Hey, I’m the chairman of this condo community here in Thailand. And I have been chairman for seven years now. I’m the guy who has to protect the other members of the pack. I need to be strong. To be able to make the deadbeats pay their bills on time. And to make sure our condo has its financial affairs in order. Repairs done efficiently and not having to pay too much. My best friend here just died. He was an alpha like myself. He was the glue that held this condo community together. Although I’m the guy who always ran our once a year condo meeting of fellow condo owners. With Richard gone, there are no alphas left.

The question is, like Heminway, I need something as a constant reminder to myself as who I am, and what I need to keep doing to lead this pack of betas living in this building I’ve been called upon to govern.

Do I buy a Japanese katana to represent who I really am and what I believe in? Or a much cheaper Chinese copy of a real Japanese sword?

I shall choose a beautifully crafted Nepalese kukri such as high ranking British officers bought as a symbol of rank while serving in the far East?

One of my best friends is Japanese. When I told Takoi I had two Japanese swords made by the Chinese,

Takoi replied. “They aren’t the real thing. You must buy Japanese sword in Japan. “

The trouble is the few swordsmith’s in Japan are highly paid elite craftsman. The real thing made in Japan costs around $5000 and that’s only a bottom level rock bottom price. What I have in mind is a real Japanese sword that will represent my alphapro web site, the alpha wolf, and myself. In the form of a custom made handle fashioned in the form of a wolf’s head or a special design on its blade featuring the alpha wolf. I thought about joining Takoi in Japan. And that we’d find a Japanese swordsmith who would create a masterpiece for me. But I figure on having to pay $10000 or so.

So how about a custom Chinese made replica of the real deal from Japan?

With all due respect for those Chinese professional swordsmith’s who actually exist where would I find one? And if I did, could I trust the man?

Hey, I’m still chairman of this condo commmunity here on Wongamat Beach in Thailand, and we won’t even buy a Chinese water pump to supply drinking water for the residents. We will always buy an American Hayworth water pump or Australian equivalent for $800 over a $300 pump made in China. We’ve found the Chinese pumps won’t last more than six months or so, their warranties are worthless and parts are unavailable for them.

My two Chinese copies of Japanese swords simply aren’t good enough to represent me or my web site. And even if I would fork over two or three thousand dollars for a Chinese made katana, all of them are basically mass produced. While being likely to fail to live up to my standards for a what represents the alpha wolf and myself.

I decided that my answer would have to come out of Nepal. After all, some of the finest warriors on earth have come out of Nepal.

These are the Gurkhas. Who come from very poor families from the Himalayan Mountains. As soldiers the Gurkhas have a History as tough and courageous soldiers. Even today Great Britain chooses 400 Nepalese Gurkhas out of 7000 applicants to serve in the British Army every year.

The Kukri to the Gurkha warrior is equally sacred as the Katana was to the ruling Samurai in pre 1870 Japan. It is a fearsome lethal weapon which modern day Gurkhas still carry while serving in the English Army.

So I went to the Kuhkuri House web site where I found out that I could custom order any style of Kukri that I could dream up.

And wound up choosing a sensational officers kukri that high level English officers were custom ordering from Nepalese kamis (those making kukris). Kuhkuri House is selling these historically authentic weapons as the British interwar kukri which represent the finest level of fit and finish that British officers serving with the Gurkhas could buy from 1918 to 1940.

But I would transform this interwar Officers kukri into my alphapro special edition limited to just one example. And that would be totally mine featuring the alpha wolf on its blade.

engraved on the bottom of the blade is my alphapro alpha wolf that adorns nearly every page of my web site. This gorgeous Kukri started off as the interwar officers kukri that is offered at Kuhkuri House. But now it’s the alphapro limited edition.

Notice the x that is engraved right below the alpha wolf engraving. This x is the signature of the Kami (master craftsman) who created my special alphapro kukri entirely by hand. He’s signed it with pride.

Notice all the details on the resume Kuhkuri House supplied me of the craftsman (kami( who created my sensational officers kukri. The kami is Rakchhu Dev Biswakarma. He’s signed his own resume with Kuhkuri House. While he’s etched his mark, X, which he carves into every kukri he makes. Obviously Rakchu is very proud of his workmanship. You won’t find such signatures on Chinese copies of real Japanese katanas and if you do they are likely to be fake.

What I especially like about Khukuri House is its unsurpassed level of customer support,

For example, while detailing exactly what I wanted on my custom Interwar officers kukri, Namaste who I’ve been dealing with for years expressed a little doubt about the quality of the alpha wolf image I had sent to Khukuri House. Then after the Rakchhu had finished the kukri Namaste sent me a picture of the kukri he was about to send off to me.

The Kami had put the picture in the middle of the blade. I did not like it. I found a much better picture to send to Khukuri House of an alpha wolf that I had scrimshalled on my Colt 45 Single Action Army revolver.

And sent it off to Khukuri House. The kami repolished the blade of my kukri, and two weeks later Khukuri House sent me an officers kukri that perfectly showed off my alpha wolf design. Fortunately I was good enough in graphics design that I could rip the wolf’s head off my Colt, and edit it in Paintshop Pro. This resulted in a superior image that I could send off to Khukuri House.

My Colt Single Action Army 45 Colt with alpha wolf scrimshalled on its imitation ivory grip
https://www.alphapro.com/augustlooking/45colt.htm A Colt 45 Single Action Army costs roughly $2000. Mine has a very light trigger pull and shoots dead on. I can split cigarettes with it at twenty feet, and have the video to prove it. Unfortunately it’s in the U.S. with the rest of my gun collection. Since I can’t legally keep guns here in Thailand, collecting Roman weapons, bowie knives and kukris is the next best thing. Just as my Colt 45 represents the alpha wolf and my web site at alphapro, this sensational officers kukri represents the spirit, and the strength and courage of the alpha wolf.

I now have ten kukris from three reputable Nepalese companies. Himilayan Imports, Tora Blades and Khukuri House.

I find the integrity of all three companies to be top notch. What I especially like about Khukuri House is it offers an unsurpassed degree of selection. You can get a kukri that’s up to chopping down trees. Or just about any handle material you want. You can specify the length of blade you want and how thick you want it. And you can have it engraved anyway you want it.

About the sharpness of Khukuri House kukris

You will notice that you can specify how sharp you want your kukri to be from Kuhkuri House. My sensational officers kukri comes just shy of being able to shave your face like a razor. But it you want to shave with it, have at it. Khukuri House pulls no punches here by informing its customers that it will not guarantee a blade that the customer insists will be razor sharp.

My alphapro custom interwar officer’s kukri is the lightest out of all ten of my kukris. It exhibits outstanding workmanship and attention to detail. It is every bit as light as un ultra fast fighting bowie. While possessing outstanding lethality. But most important of all, It’s the real deal out of Nepal. If you want to find out why I suggest that you watch this video showing how a kami creates a handmade kukri from scratch.

Best Nepalese Kukri is the World War I Tora Blades Mark II

The best Nepalese Kukri is the World War I Tora Blades Mark II, which also served in great numbers during World War II

The Best Nepalese kukri is the Tora Blades Mark II.
The most fearsome adversaries the Japanese faced during World War II were the Gurkhas from Nepal using one of the most intimidating blades ever conceived, the Kukri. This is the national knife of Nepal carried by Gurkha soldiers during both World Wars. To the Gurkha soldier, his kukri is what the katana was to the Samurai warriors of Japan. I am reviewing the Tora Blades Mark II kukri in this video., comparing it to the Cold Steel San Mai $700.00 super sharp kukri made from laminated Japanese steel and other well made Nepalese kukris from other highly regarded Nepalese companies. I own ten kukris, all of them from Nepal.

This latest version of the Tora Blades Mark II is (so far) the best Nepalese Kukri I own.

Why am I calling this latest Tora Blades kukri the best Nepalese Kukri?

In the middle of my video I demonstate its lethality againtst a very well made World War II model from a competitor using balloons. Now don’t laugh. Because the late Bill Bagwell used balloons to demonstrate why he thought the “fighting bowie knife” is the finest close quarter blade of all due to the unique design of the sharpened portion that makes the deadly backcut possible.

Click on the link below to get this video.

Click here to get Bill Bagwell “The deadly Back cut.”

But a lot of knives are called Bowie knives. And justiably so. Due to their inheriting the bowie knives unique principles.

But the fighting bowie is an entirely different animal from all its imitators.

The bowie knife had its heyday in the 1830’s through the 1850’s when it was used in hundreds of duels, particularly in the deep South. In his book, Bowies, Big Knives, and the Best Balle Blades, Bagwell describes how New Orleans alone accounted for an average of one fatality a day in such duels.

Unfortunately Bill Bagwell died so I can’t ask him to create a genuine Bill Bagwell fighting bowie for me. But I commissioned Mark Morrow to make a real Arkansas fighting bowie for me.

Which I beleive to be just as outstanding as one of Bill Bagell’s masterpieces. A real fighting bowie such as those used in the first half of the 19th century is a knife of exquisite quality, lightweight for its size, beautifully balanced, and awesomely lethal if its owner knows how to use it.

I believe that my video demonstrates that the Tora Blades Mark II is not only the best Nepalese kukri I own. But also the most lethal kukri in my stable.

I compare it to the San Mai Cold Steel kukri that Cold Steel’s owner Lyn Thompson demonstrates in this video.

Click on the link below to get this video as YouTube no longer allows their embedded videos to work.

Click here to get Cold Steel’s video on the outstanding cutting and thrusting qualities of their San Mai Kukri.

As outstanding as the Cold Steel kukri is, I believe the new Mark II kukri to be not only the best Nepalese kukri but quite possibly even superior to Cold Steel’s Gurkha Kukri with its very expensive and razor sharp San Mai blade made from Japanese laminated streel.

Cold Steel’s Lyn Thompson put another video up on the Cold Steel web site where he demonstrates the Gurkha kukri’s cut and thrust prowess. In that video Lyn Thompson emphasizes that “not all kurkri’s are created equal”. In the video Thompson once again swipes away at a hog’s carcass. Only this time he thrusts at the hog carcass using its point to demonstate that a kukri designed with its point angling downward can make big holes in the carcass with little effort.

After watching Bill Bagwell’s you tube video demonstating the bowie knife’s deadly backcut and Lyn Thompson’s video that emphasizes Cold Steel’s Gurka kukri’s thrusting capabilities I came up with my own Jack Corbett theory of what makes the World War I Tora Blades Mark II designed kukri superior to the later World War II designed kukris. And use my own balloon test. To demonstrate that the deadliness of the back edge of a fighting bowie is incorporated into the design in kukri’s including the Tora Blades Mark II and the Cold Steel Gurkha San Mai Kukri. (I have two Mark II kukris. Click here to get my video that proves my first Tora Blades Mark II kukri is the Best Nepalese Kukri due to its light weight.

Which now brings us to the quality of a Tora Blades Mark II kukri compared to a Cold Steel San Mai Gurkha kukri. Or even an equisite hand made fighting bowie.

Although I don’t have a Cold Steel San Mai kukri, I have a Cold Steel San Mai Trailmaster bowie knife. That uses the same expensive Japanese laminated steel. While I also own a gorgeous Mark Morrow fighting Arkansas bowie knife knife to compare it to.

In the hand the Mark Morrow fighting bowie is lightning fast. And as for its quality it’s perfect. Flawless. It took me one and a half years to get it from Mark. One reason it took so long is Mark had been unable to get deer antlers that met his rigid quality standards. Mark is also a historian.

Mark Morrow Arkansas fighting bowie from Mark’s web site.

And my Mark Morrow fighting bowie has an unworldly feel about it. Which captures a certain spirituality that the finest made fighting bowies no doubt possessed.

Hold it. While pretending to thrust and cut at an imaginary enemy and the blade seems to move by itself. Automatically. As if a spirit is directing it towards the killing zones of an enemy it’s encountering. Nothing surpasses a Mark Morrow fighting bowie.

The Mark Morrow Arkansas fighthing bowie has a 10 inch blade. Which is also wider than
the Cold Steel Trailmaster blade. Although the Trailmaster is 2 millimeters thicker.
But the fighthing bowie weighs 570 grams whereas the Cold Steel Trailmaster weights in
at just 500 grams. Yet the Mark Morrow fighting bowie seems to weight much less than
the Cold Steel San Mai Trail Master. This is because Mark designed it to have a heavy handle with a relatively light blade giving the fighting bowie extreme quickness. The guard’s purpose is to protect the owner’s hand from his opponent’s blade during a duel. This knife is deigned for killing. Notice also that Mark has signed the blade with his M insignia.

So I am not about to contend that the Tora Blades Mark II kukri equals a Mark Morrow blade’s quality. But it comes pretty close. While it equals Cold Steel’s San Mai blades based on comparing it to my Cold Steel San Mai Trailmaster.

Cold Steel Trailmaster San Mai bowie knife. Although it’s a bowie notice that its clip point is not as pronounced as the clip point
on the Mark Morrow fighting bowie. This picture does not do justice to the beauty of its Japanese laminated steel blade. Because Cold Steel designed it to be almost indestructible the blade is 8 millimeters thick and 9.5 inches long. Contrast this to the Mark Morrow fighting bowie with its 10 inch long blade that is only 5 millmeters thick.
So far my Tora Blades Mark 2 kukri is the Best Nepalese kukri I own
There’s not a scratch, blemish or single rust mark on its
blade. The appearance of its gleeming steel blade is second to none. Not only is it paper cutting sharp every millimeter along its 14 inch blade. It shaves my arm like a razor. Above this Mark II is one of the six books I’ve done, Extreme Guns and Babes for an Adult World. I do my own book covers, type set my books myself, do all the books’ pictures, choose my own models (including the white tiger). So it should come as no surprise why I favor bowie knives and Kukris that are made by hand.
shaving sharp Tora Blades kukri is the Best Nepalese kukri
Two slipes down my arm with the Tora Blade Mark 2 kukri left A LOT of hair on its blade. The $700.00 Cold Steel Gurkha kukri no doubt has an incredibly sharp blade. My San Mai Cold Streel Trailmaster certainly has. So which is more lethal, the Cold Steel San Mai Gurkha kukri or the Tora Blades Mark II Kukri made in Nepal? Do the math. The Cold Steel kukri has a 12 inch blade. While the Tora Blades Mark II has 14 inches of cold steel. Note also that a curved blade cuts better than a straight blade. The curved design is responsible for a lot of this. But along the curve this Tora Blades Mark II is about 10 percent longer than its length in a straight line of 14 inches. So we are talking about 15.5 inches of edge here and that 15.5 inches is razor sharp. This is the Best Nepalese kukri I know of in terms of quality, lethality, and overall fit and finish.

And the best kukris are created by master craftsmen who create each kukri with loving care.

For example, I received my Tora Blades Mark II with a certificate of authenticity that is signed and dated.

Cold Steel mass produces its products. While the Nepalese make kukris entirely by hand.

Tora Blades also include a Kukri check list for each kukri that bears the signature of the checker in the following areas, 1. Blade, 2. Handle, and 3. Scabbard.

certificate of authority that the Tora Blades Mark II kukri has passed all rigid quality tests

This signed checklist guarantees there are no flaws in the kukri’s fit and finish. And that it completely passes both a nail and paper cutting test. So if it’s not razor sharp it comes awfully close.

It is no wonder that the Nepalese gurkas terrified the Japanese soldiers they faced.

Just as much as they terrified their German and Italian opponents on other fronts. But how about the man behind this awesome hand to hand combat weapon? How did he fare one on one against a Japanese officer wielding a Katana? Along with his rifle the Japanese officer carriesaKatana with its 28 inch blade. His skills are legendary. Even today the Gurkas are often considered the finest soldiers in the world. This is a long video, but I think you will favor the Gurkha when you finish viewing it.

Each year the British Army selects only 400 Gurkhas out of 10000 recruits. Consider that they are from poor families in one of the poorest countries
in the world, and for the lucky Gurkhas who are selected. This will make all the difference
to their families and themselves. Their loyalty and devotion will be complete to the army thay serve. Their bravey unsurpassed.

Tora Blades World War I Mark 1 kukri review

Himalayan Imports M-43, World War II model, Gelbu Special and Tora Blades Mark II kukri review (battle blades).

Sexy Women with Guns, Extreme Guns and Babes outclasses the rest.

The best book you can buy of Sexy Women with Guns is also a terrific gun book even if you can do without the great pictures of models. How can I make this outrageous claim, and why should you buy Extreme Guns and Babes for an Adult World?

26 Sexy Women with Guns are in this book
The picture doesn’t do justice to the front cover. The mesmerizing image of the tiger’s eyes makes this cover a one of a kind
picture of Extreme Guns and Babes for an Adult World's back cover
Go to the bottom of this page to see discover whivh guns I’ve covered

The most important reason this book is for you is because I wrote it to appeal to readers who love looking at pictures of Sexy women with Guns far more than they like reading books about guns.

Allow me to explain this paradox to you. For two years I wrote gun articles for Xtreme Magazine, which was an adult magazine. With Xtreme’s advertisers being strip clubs, tattoo parlors, massage establishments, and other adult venues. While its readers were mostly men who frequented the topless clubs on the East Coast. So my gun articles had to appeal to readers who had little or no interest in guns whatsoever.

Being a serious gun lover, it was not enough for me to put together a few ordinary sentences about guns to accompany the sensational pictures I was taking of my models.

I needed to write gun articles that were so outstanding that they could stand up to the best that had ever been written.

For example, Kris Kyle, the most deadly sniper in U.S. history who wrote American Gun, a History of the U.S. in Ten Firearms. Or Jeff Cooper, Jack O’ Connor, and Skeeter Skelton. Whether my gun articles could stand up to those written by the best gun writers who ever lived, I at least set my bar to the stratosphere.

The internet has a lot of websites featuring Sexy Women with Guns. I had to outdo them all

Because I wrote adult articles for Xtreme, Exotic Dancer, Wild Times and other adult magazines. While strip clubs across the United States were paying me to shoot pictures of their nude entertainers, I had a huge selection of great models to choose from. Who would jump at the chance to be featured in “Xtreme Magazine”. This is why you will find stunning pictures of Leah Layne, a former Miss Nude Illinois, Montana Steel, Miss Texas, and Serenna Star, 2005’s Miss Nude World in Extreme Guns and Babes for an Adult World. And of 23 lesser known professional adult entertainers.

If you buy the Kindle version of Extreme Guns and Babes for an Adult World, you might find that your smart phone gives you a superior reading experience than you will get from a Kindle.

Provided you download the free Kindle reader from Amazon when you buy anyone of my books from Amazon.

If you do this, your smart phone will deliver outstanding pictures of sexy women with guns. That are superior to what you will find in the paperback editions of Extreme Guns and Babes for an Adult World.

With your smart phone you can easily change the font size of the text using just two fingers and throw away your reading glasses. You can also easily pull the chapter up that features any gun and entertainer. By simply clicking on its heading in the table of contents.

Chances are you always have your smart phone with you. But you didn’t think about bringing a paperback with you. So just imagine the next time you are at your Doctor’s office or waiting for your car to be repaired. And how boring it is to wait your turn. But now you have your favorite books with you.

You probably still don’t believe how well your smart phone performs as a book reader. And not just the books I have written. But any ebook you can buy. Provided the books are properly formatted.

If you still have any doubts about just how good your smart phone works for reading books click here

I’m not about to recommend that you buy my books in ebook format over their paperback editions. Because I believe my paperback books are equal or superior to anything that’s out there. Especially the black and white edition of Extreme Guns and Babes for an Adult World that you can buy at Lulu.com. Or you can opt for the full color edition from Amazon. Whatever you choose, you will get outstanding pictures of sexy women with guns. But I recommend that you visit my Jack Corbett bookstore first. Where I can offer you all five of my books in a variety of formats in one place. You will also get the best prices. While still being able to buy from such reputable outlets as Amazon and Lulu.com.
