An American woman warned me that men should never be with women who in their twenties. This applies to thirty year old bar girls. I have found in my experiences with Pattaya bar girls that my friend is nearly 100 percent correct. And until I reached that ripe old age my life consisted of one party after another. And how it really didn’t matter how I financed all the partying so long as I was able to pay my rent and have enough left over for beer money. So I sold cars, I sold insurance. I sold electronic pagers. But by the time I was twenty-eight I had earned my Masters Degree in Business and started to get really serious about having a life long career.

After retiring to Thailand I asked Morgan, What about this twenty-nine year old Thai woman living with me now? She is not a thirty year old bar girl yet.

To which Morgan replied. “She’s twenty-nine. That’s nearly thirty. She’s close enough to the magic age, Jack.”

So what is it that make thirty the magic number, but twenty-nine is close enough? I now must draw on my personal experiences as an ex boxer, college cross country runner, and an avid skier. I think thirty is the age that separates men in their prime from those who are going over the hill.

What is the difference between a Thai thirty year old bar girl and a twenty-four year old?

It is now November 29, 2020. I live in Naklua, which is just five minutes by motorcycle from Pattaya’s infamous Soi Six. Another ten minutes brings you to Pattaya’s Walking Street . Where you will find most of Pattaya’s go-go bars. Which are very similar to America’s strip clubs. But Thailand like the rest of the world is reeling from the effects of the Corona 19 virus. Millions of Thais have lost their jobs. While thousands of businesses have closed.

And Walking Street is just a shadow of its pre-virus days, Soi Six is still going strong. Although perhaps a third of Soi Six’s fifty bars have closed, it seems there are even more girls to choose from than ever before. And they have become a lot younger and prettier. This is because girls who used to have jobs back home, no longer have jobs. Or the chief bread winner in the family (if there ever was one) has lost her/his source of income.

So all these women are flocking to Pattaya’s Soi Six bars who never had to consider working in them before. And very few of them are thirty year old bar girls.

One similarity between Thai bar girls and American strippers, is both have blood sucking leech boyfriends. Who either won’t or cannot have a job. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s an American or Thai bar girl. The parasitical boyfriend is a disgusting low life who should never have been allowed to escape from his mother’s womb. But there is no social security system in Thailand that rivals what is available to American families.. While decent paying job opportunities hardly exist in rural Thailand where most of the bar girls come from. Like it or not, poor families in Thailand expect their daughters to provide income for their families. Which is why so many girls choose to become bar girls. When they could make only $300 a month working at the 7-11.

Why would a sixty year old man choose a thirty year old bar girl over a cute 19 year old?

Is a thirty year old bar girl all that different from the younger girls

I think it is generally accepted that women across the world are in their sexual prime after they reach thirty. In Thailand I have found this to be pretty accurate for the most part. I’d prefer a thirty-two year old with a great body to a twenty-two year old who’s destined to get fat. While I know at least two forty year old Thai women who will put most twenty year olds to shame.

While a lot of thirty year old bar girls have learned how far a leeching Thai boyfriend has gotten them.

Many of them have long ago grown tired of the endless partying, night after night. And having to constantly associate with much younger women whose lifetime goals last only twelve hours at best.
