Nikky Bar Naklua is where we’ve had three Pattaya Dancing Queen Contests, which as the first of their kind in Pattaya. We have five judges chosen for their impartiality. In the last competition the first-place girl received 20000 baht while the two runner ups received 15000 and 5000 baht. Nikky Bar’s owner, Nikky, is Thai, yet she’s live in the United States for 6 years. Working hard, meeting the American public, in sales.

Last New Year’s Eve for Nikky Bar.

Because they will be closing all Naklua Bars between Soi 33 and Dolphin circle this will be that last New Year’s Eve here.

This marks what will be close to the final departure of the Naklua bar scene as we know it. To be replaced by Little Korea, Chinatown 2 for Thailand, or High So Dom for wealthy Thai people. Expect new high rise hotels in this area and condos in the coming years.

For Nikky this Last New Year’s Eve for this area’s Naklua bars brings both uncertainty and new opportunities. For the rest of us, at the end of January we will have to go elsewhere.

I came up with these four videos at this last New Year’s Eve party. Hopefully they are some of my best yet. I used my Nikon X7ii camera with the 17-28 wide angle Z lens. And my always on light which I mounted on top of the camera. So, I didn’t use my normal Nikon flash all that much. But the always on light gives me the best focusing for video I can get. While eliminating the effects of the flashing lights in many bar settings.

Mali on the left, Mimi in the middle and Phang on the right. Thanks to Mali and Mimi there’s a lot of great dancing in these four videos and music to go with it, both Thai music and Falang.

Fortunately, there will be at least one party left here at Nikky Bar. Gethas heads back to London tomorrow. You will see him dancing a lot in these videos. But this has been the Last New Year’s Eve party here at Nikky Bar. Unless she starts up another Nikky Bar somewhere else in Pattaya.

Get Down Saturday Night, Ex Machina Thailand Style.

In Ex Machina Sonoya Mizuno and Oscar Isaac’s dancing scene to “Get Down Saturday Night” is just over the top.

This is great music. I exercise to it at the fitness center at the Centara Grand Mirage Resort. And will often change the music in whatever Pattaya bars I’m visiting. Where I am normally taking a girl with me.

I hate all that electro crap they are playing in too many bars in Pattaya. Especially in Soi Six which just happens to be my favorite street here. They play it because the managers and owners let the most brain- dead Thai women play whatever they want on YouTube.

Ironically, it’s the falang managed and owned bars that the guiltiest of this.

And I think it’s because too many foreigners who own or manage bars here either cannot or are not willing to control their bar girls. You won’t ever hear that electro garage over at Nikky Bar for example. And you will hardly ever hear it in any of the Smoke and Kissses bars such as Smoke and Kisses, Smoke and Mirrors, Lollytop bar or Crazy Fox on Soi Chayapoon. All four having single Thai lady owner.

Mimi and Mali dancing to Get down Saturday Night is far better than I ever expected. This is great music. Mimi must think so because as soon as Nikky starts playing it on her bar’s sound system, Mimi’s eight on it. But Mimi danced with me to it a few days ago. We were both pretty three sheets to the wind but I felt we looked great together. While Mali had often accompanied me to bars where I had Get Down Saturday Night playing.

Speaking of Mali, in this video she’s singing one of her favorite songs. While Mimi’s dancing right next to her. The difference between the two ladies was and is remarkable. But I will just let all of you see if you can detect their totally different personalities in this video.

Nikon Z7 and Ladyboys at Naklua birthday surprise bar

It’s European soccer night at Nikky bar so it’s time to move onto the Nikon Z7and Ladyboys at another Naklua bar’s birthday Party.

It’s Europe soccer night at Nikky bar so it’s time to move onto Nikon and Ladyboys at another Naklua bar’s birthday Party.

I’ve got Mali with me and she’s looking pretty good. She’s carrying it on her back in a small backpack. But there’s no music playing at Nikky Bar tonight. A few Europeans have the television playing soccer matches. I forgot that Nikky has Tuesday and Thursday nights all locked up for soccer. Because a few Europeans insist on having the bar all to themselves.

Soccer might be fun to play, but for spectators I have it to be as boring as a dog taking a dump.

I tell Nikky that I’m not one of those European old men. Who have nothing to do with their lives than to watch one of the most boring sports created by man. Six of us hop into a ten-baht taxi, including Nikky. Which takes us to a small bar owned by one of Nikky’s pals. By the time we leave, more than half of Nikky’s customers and bar girls have joined us. Which speaks volumes for soccer and the men who are addicted to it.

My Nikon Z7 and Ladyboys will come together later. For now, Rick and the two ladies he’s brought with him are my targets. And Mali who I think is the prettiest girl in the bar. And tonight, Rick is in rare form. I suppose it’s all because he has to fly back to the U.S. just two days from now.

A pretty woman soon takes center stage, dancing right next to the band. I try to imagine my being with her. She’s got a great body, but she looks strangely very healthy. And when women look like that, I start to become very afraid.
