Dollies Strip Club owner disappears off the face of the earth.

After encountering Steve, the Dollies Strip Club owner in the elevator at the Exotic Dancer’s Expo, I never saw him again.

And neither did Hawk, the general manager of Dollies. But I saw the Dollies strip club owner in the elevator at the Tropicana Casino in Las Vegas. Who looked godawful when he joined me in the elevator. Steve never said a word to me. Looking like a ghost, not long for this world.

Well I love you too, L.A. More about L.A. LaMan who once told me, “Jack, you are one of the few real people I have met in this business. After I wrote “Penetrating the Bad Boy Image of L.A. LaMan,” L.A. loved me to death every bit as much as I loved her.
Hawk, general manager of Dollies with his daughter Renee, bartending at the Dollies Playhouse back bar. By this time Steve, the Dollies Strip Club owner had disappeared while his partner, Nathan was giving Hawk carte blanche in running the club.

But Marriah’s telling Hawk great things about me.

Which gives me the chance to bring my desktop computer into the general manager’s office. So I show Hawk what my digital camera can do. And my alphapro web site, with its Lost Angels chat room. Which was a lot like Facebook years ahead of its time.

“I’m worried about Steve,” Hawk tells me. “Our Dollies Playhouse Strip Club owner got back from the Exotic Dancer Expo in Las Vegas, and then he disappeared off the face of the earth. They found his pickup truck. Abandoned. Jack, you know a lot about the Internet and have a lot of smart friends. Can you help me find out what’s happened to Steve?”
